Ambient Skies with Rumen

Come and relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the sunset, as ambient duo Rumen wash you in beuaitful harmonies and sounds.
You gaze up to the stars as you allow the sounds and deep listening to transport you to another realm.

THIS IS RUMEN:

Rooted in cinematic soundscapes, conjuring emotional evocative imagery. Christopher White & Ruby Colley come together for the first time to release a unique collaborative project, driven by soprano saxophone, violin and electronics.

As well as conventional playing styles they employ extended techniques, utilizing the violin & saxophone in textural and unexpected ways. Their live performances manipulate live strings, synths and multi-tracking recordings. Both driven by composition that defies categorisation, White & Colley traverse genres such as classical, jazz and electronica creating celestial soundscapes that immerse and captivate.

Doors open at 7:30pm, music from 8:30pm.

Bring a blanket and cushions to make yourself comfortable and cosy. We will encourage audiences to lie down for this event.
