More about Vox Voices:
Relaxed, playful vocal workshops & courses focusing on the joy of making a collective sound, group listening and learning to swap seamlessly from harmony to harmony. With group improvisation, breath work and movement, Vox Voices workshops are open to all who want to sing & find their voice - experienced and tentative singers alike.
What to expect in the workshop:
We will start the workshop with group warm-ups bringing us into the space together with voice, movement and breath.
We will explore some playful vocal improvisation activities all within the safety of the group – taking inspiration from and responding to the space & sounds around us.
Everything will be collective & collaborative with activities built up in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable, have fun & given permission to be silly and feel creatively involved.
We will learn part-harmony songs, moving from harmony to harmony and focusing on the group sound.

Tara runs regular Vox Voices workshops and courses in Hastings & Hackney – here’s what regular VV singers have to say:
"I can start a session of Vox Voices feeling completely out of sorts and leave with a big smile on my face”
"... No matter how big or small the group is, the way we learn never fails to produce a beautiful and extremely satisfying sound almost immediately. Tara's emphasis on every member learning all the harmonies creates an extremely empathetic group, which listens intently to the overall sound much more than any other choir I have experienced..."
“… I couldn't have imagined before starting that I would have had the confidence to improvise a line over a group of singers... I very much credit you for setting up a safe, open environment ….You are a skilled facilitator!”
