Beyond the Bayeux

Our 1st major production within the ruins of the castle, establishing a new open-air theatre space for Hastings and East Sussex.

A dramatic, exciting, and totally unique production unlike the castle has ever seen. Celebrate the opening of the British Museums’ sell out exhibition of the Bayeux Tapestry, and a moment that puts us in the national spotlight.

Bringing our Norman castle ruin to life will be live music from Muco, Lucie Treacher and performances from Ellie Westbrook and more to be confirmed.

Designed especially for this show Battlecat studios will create animations that will illuminate the castle walls.
